Wednesday I signed on all the paperwork to get the renovation started on the house. Except, it's not really a renovation.
Those of you who've been to my house, envision it for a second: it's a wood, one-story house on top of a cinderblock basement. Well, the plan is to strip it down to the cinderblocks, and build a new, two-story house on top of it. From 1000sqft+basement to 2300sqft+basement+deck. You can download a PDF of the plans here.
"You will move into your new home on the morning of Saturday, June 6, 2009."
It will give us just over a month to get moved in and settled in before Elise gives birth to twins.
Transitions? I got 'em, baby, in SPADES.

Looks like a great home. Lots of sun, music room, and even a grandparents room on the first floor!
